僕は日本に一時帰国するたびに、単発で利用できるジム探しに苦労していました。一般的なジムは基本的に、会員にのみ開かれているため、単発利用ができるジムは、そもそも数が少ないです。仮に、単発利用ができたとしても、利用料が2000円から3000円と高いことが多いです。一方で公営のジムは、500円前後など比較的リーズナブルに利用できますが、開館時間が短いところが難点です。また単発利用できる一般的なジムも公営ジムも、滞在場所の近くにないこともよくあります。
Every time I temporarily return to Japan, I struggle to find gyms that allow one-time use. Most standard gyms are exclusively for members, making it difficult to find ones that offer single-use options. Even if a gym does allow one-time visits, the fee is often high, ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 yen. On the other hand, public gyms are more affordable, costing around 500 yen, but their short operating hours can be inconvenient. Moreover, both standard and public gyms that allow one-time use are often not located near where I stay.
そんな悩みを解決してくれたのが、GYYM（ジーム）
という、ジムなどのフィットネス施設を都度利用することができる、ウェブサイトです。GYYMを使えば、個別の入会金や月会費などを払うことなく、単発でティップネスやエニタイム、メガロスなどのさまざまなジムを予約、利用することができます。また、多くの場合、直にジムをビジター利用するよりも、GYYMを利用した方が安くなるため、お財布にも優しいです。
The solution to this issue is GYYM, a website that allows users to access fitness facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis. With GYYM, you can book and use various gyms such as Tipness, Anytime Fitness, and Megalos without needing to pay individual membership or monthly fees. In many cases, using GYYM is actually cheaper than paying the standard visitor fee directly at the gym, making it a budget-friendly option.
使い方は、とても簡単です。GYYMに登録してポイントを購入、利用したい施設と時間を選んで予約、あとは予約時間に施設を訪ねるだけです。僕は、GYYMを何度も利用しています。2024年12月末から2025年1月半ばにかけて日本に一時帰国した際も、東京都内だけでなく複数の都道府県で、GYYMからジムを利用しました。いつもとてもスムーズに利用することができています。
Using GYYM is very simple. You register on the platform, purchase points, select a facility and time slot, make a reservation, and then visit the facility at the booked time. I have used GYYM multiple times. Even during my temporary return to Japan from late December 2024 to mid-January 2025, I accessed gyms via GYYM not only in Tokyo but also in multiple other prefectures. Each time, the process was smooth and hassle-free.
GYYMについて知る前は、滞在場所から少し遠い公営ジムや一般的なジムを利用していました。先述の通り、一般的なジムは、費用が高く、一回あたり2420円払っていたこともありました。なのでGYYMを使い始めてびっくりしました。なんと全く同じジムが、GYYMに掲載されていて、1500ポイントで利用できるようになったのです。1ポイントを1円に換算すると、同じジムが1500円で利用できるため、一回あたり920円もお得です。
Before discovering GYYM, I used public gyms or standard gyms that were slightly far from my accommodation. As mentioned earlier, standard gyms tend to be expensive, and I have paid as much as 2,420 yen per visit. So, I was astonished when I started using GYYM. The very same gym I had previously visited was listed on GYYM for just 1,500 points. Since 1 point is equivalent to 1 yen, I could use the same gym for 1,500 yen, saving 920 yen per visit.
しかも、GYYMでは、月額の定期購入プランを利用することで、特典ポイントをもらうことができ、さらにお得にジムを利用することができます。今回僕は、帰省した際に利用したのは、月額8000円のプランです。このプランを購入すると、8000円で12000ポイントが付与されます。このプランを利用すれば、1ポイントあたり0.67円になるため、1500ポイントで利用できるジムは、一回あたりおよそ1000円で利用できます。僕の場合では、直接ジムをビジター利用していた頃は、一回あたり2420円支払っていたので、一回につき1420円も節約できるようになりました。定期購入プランは、いつでも停止できるので、日本を離れる際に、停止しました。滞在中に複数回ジムを利用する予定がある人には、お得になる定期購入プランをおすすめします。
Additionally, GYYM offers a monthly subscription plan that provides bonus points, making gym visits even more cost-effective. During my stay in Japan, I used the 8,000 yen monthly plan, which grants 12,000 points. This plan reduces the cost per point to 0.67 yen, meaning a gym that requires 1,500 points can be accessed for roughly 1,000 yen per visit. Since I used to pay 2,420 yen per visit, this plan helped me save 1,420 yen per visit. The subscription plan can be canceled anytime, so I stopped it when I left Japan. If you plan to use gyms multiple times during your stay, I highly recommend considering a subscription plan.
定期購入プランの利用で、一つ注意したいのは、定期購入を停止する場合、その時点で保有している定期購入で購入したポイントおよび特典ポイントが失効するという点です。ポイントが余っていて、GYYMの利用予定があるにも関わらず、定期購入を停止してしまうと、ポイントがなくなってしまうので気をつけていました。
One thing to note about the subscription plan is that if you cancel it, any remaining subscription-purchased points and bonus points will expire immediately. If you have leftover points and still plan to use GYYM, be careful not to cancel the subscription prematurely.
GYYMは新規入会のボーナスポイントを付与するキャンペーンを頻繁に行っているようです。さらに、どうしてかは分かりませんが、年始にはキャンペーンポイントとして1000ポイントをプレゼントしてもらいました。このような特典ポイントを踏まえると、GYYMのおかげでかなり安くジムを利用することができています。
GYYM frequently runs promotional campaigns offering bonus points for new members. Additionally, for some reason, I received 1,000 campaign points as a New Year’s gift. With these bonus points, I have been able to access gyms at an even lower cost.
GYYMにはさまざまなフィットネス施設が掲載されています。中には高級ホテル宿泊者向けのジムも掲載されています。特定の施設と契約をしていないからこそ、気分によって利用する施設を変えられます。また滞在者ではなく、居住者の場合でも、GYYMを利用することで、契約するジム選びもできると思います。
GYYM features a wide variety of fitness facilities, including high-end hotel gyms. Since you are not bound to a specific gym contract, you can choose different facilities based on your mood. Even for residents, GYYM can be a useful tool to explore gym options before committing to a membership.
GYYMを使い始めたことで、さまざまなフィットネス施設がリーズナブルに都度利用できるようになり、日本滞在中の運動の質が格段に上がりました。短期滞在中のジム利用にお困りの方は、ぜひGYYMの利用を検討してみてください。
